We all know it… the key to success in this industry is all about exposure. The problem is that there are so many doing the same exact things to the same exact people. At some point, your target audience is numbed to the exasperating ambushes. This series is going to serve as a blueprint to market yourself to your customers… and actually make them notice.
Let’s face it… it is an ordeal to sell or buy a home. It’s life-changing. And our goal is to help facilitate the process. But what sets you apart from Joe Realtor? What makes you stand out from the crowd?
This is what this series will help you understand. It will be a building block to make you not only noticed, but someone that your target audience is compelled to enlist during this tumultuous time. It will help you practically become a family member. Don’t believe me? Hear me out and test it out for yourself…
STEP ONE: Social Media
I know… social media feels like you’re a lemming about to jump off of a cliff willingly. Pictures of food & babies fill up your Facebook & Twitter feeds. But, do you know what? You should do it. Show off some of those personal events that happen in your life! Because to a current or prospective client, you seem HUMAN. You are relatable. They feel comfortable because they know the small fractions of your real life. So don’t be frightened to show who you “really” are. Show them bits of your life, what you do on weekends, fantastic things that make you…YOU. It isn’t too much. It makes you more than a face on a bench or a notepad.
Now, I don’t mean you should bombard them with your REAL life. Just give them sprinkles of it. Let them know you aren’t a robot. Let them know you can relate. You have the opportunity to instantly become close. Trust me, it will work wonders…
